This is a link to many people who are working in the Bayji area, military and civilian. This is a good way to post messages if you like, or obtain other contacts of those in the military in a less than hospitable place.
Link
You can check this link from time to time to see what is going on, obtain a few pictures and communicate with the local military people whom I have the utmost respect for. They are doing the "right" thing.
In your thoughts... please don't forget the civilian contractors who are over here as well, and those who have given their all to protect myself and others like myself.
Mike Price - IED Attack 30 April 04
Vincent Foster - IED Attack 25 April 04
Thomas Carter - IED Attack 25 April 04
I knew two of the three men, and they were all outstanding professionals.
I will soon be leaving this country.
I've had enough.
We were attacked again on 12/18/04.
Although the vehicle I was riding in was destroyed, all the passengers made it out
with only minor injuries. Only two of us were hospitalized, but are now back to work. I've been shot at, under mortar and rocket attacks and several IED attacks.
This is only one of many attacks that I have managed to live through, and if all goes well, it will be my last.
I will be returning to my family with a bit of a headache, but in one piece.
If nothing else... just write to some of these people and tell them.... tell them you believe in them and what they are doing, tell them you care, and wish them well.
I can not begin to tell you how much your support has meant to be.
I do appreciate all your kind words and thoughts and hope you continue with someone who seriously needs your support.
Thanks again,
Bill Boyce
